We teach floristry as a modern craft and a sustainable business.
Mamova BloomTech blends advanced floral mechanics, rigorous business training, and ecological design principles to prepare the next generation of professionals.
Our Story
Founded by Dr. Elena Mamova in a small studio in San Francisco’s Mission District, Mamova BloomTech began as a series of experimental workshops combining Japanese ikebana techniques with contemporary engineering principles.
By 2021 the studio had grown into a full academy with cohorts traveling from twelve countries. Today our programs combine virtual reality floral simulations, on-site sustainable sourcing expeditions, and direct mentorship from working artists who run million-dollar studios.
“We realized floristry needed the same rigor as architecture and product design. So we created a curriculum that treats flowers like materials and ecosystems like clients.”
Mission & Values
Every stem, every placement, every business decision is deliberate. We reject casual arrangements in favor of engineered elegance.
We only work with regenerative farms, zero-waste protocols, and circular material systems. Our goal is to make the floral industry carbon negative by 2030.
We teach graduates to build studios that are both culturally significant and financially robust, focusing on high-margin seasonal collections and private commissions.
